About WMTC2022-China Session
时间:2022/3/24 9:48:43World Maritime Technology Conference 2022 (WMTC2022) will be held during April 26-28 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Due to Covid-19 uncertainty, local organizing Committee of WMTC2022 authorizes SSNAME at least one session for reporting from China on progress in Ship Building Technology on April 27th. SSNAME, together with expert organizers The Royal Danish Consulate General in Shanghai and Danish Export Association - Marine & Offshore China is now well into planning the session.
This year’s theme for WMTC2022 is “Creating Sustainable Shipping Through Technology and Innovation”. The conference will set up keynote sessions and a number of academic special sessions, including New Zero Carbon Fuels, Hydrodynamics, Machinery & Engines, Ship Design & Propulsion, Sustainable Shipping – Technology and etc. More detailed information about WMTC2022 can be found on the website www.wmtc2022.com. The China Session will set up one Keynote session and two parallel sessions including Intelligent Manufacturing, intelligent Ship Design, Green Technology and Decarbonization.
The World Maritime Technology Conference is a renowned international marine technology conference held once every three years under the auspices of the World Maritime Technology Congress, with organization carried out by a member Society. It is a famous technology event of the maritime industry which attracts the attendees all over the world. Up to now WMTC has been held for 6 times with the last one (WMTC’18) hosted by Shanghai Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers at Shanghai, China. in 2018. Nearly 800 attendees came from 15 countries to Shanghai and about 180 exceptional papers are presented on 27 sessions during the three-day event. Other six conferences are held in following cities:
