HISTORY:
¡¡¡¡Pan Asian Association of Maritime Engineering
Societies (PAAMES) was organized for the objectives of promoting
science and technology in maritime engineering, supporting
the development of maritime industry, exchanging scientific
information, improving the status of maritime engineers, and
cooperation and collaboration among the member organizations
in Asia-Pacific countries. The 1st PAAMES meeting was held
in October 2004 in Shanghai, in conjunction with the 4th New
S-Tech Conference. The International Standing Committee of
the 1st PAAMES decided to change the name of New-S Tech Conference
to AMEC in order to widen the scope and to link the name with
PAAMES.
The Asian Maritime Engineering Conference (AMEC 2006) will
take place in Cheju Island in October 2006, concurrently with
the 2nd Pan Asian Association of Maritime Engineering Societies
(PAAMES) meeting.

A one-page abstract containing 300 to 400 English words
: December 31, 2005
Letter of acceptance : March 31, 2006
Full paper due : July 21, 2006
LANGUAGE:
The conference will be conducted in English, and papers
submitted must be written in English.
